  • The Business Development Analyst supports the Offshore Wind Growth department Team to deliver winning bids (tenders or projects acquisitions and selldowns) in order to effectively grow the pipe of the Group at various development stages to secure the achievement of the targets.
    Market entry and development in the dedicated Region
  • Contributes to ensure regulatory watch of the countries in the respective zone
  • Contributes to the market entry analysis (feasibility studies, competition analysis, country surveys )
- contributes to the negotiation and establishment of partnerships for projects at various development stages through the preparation of meetings and necessary documents, research and studies

  • Prepares meetings with public & private and national & local stakeholders

Support to render/project acquisition

  • Assists in the implementation of bidding strategy and production of tender:
  • Assists to identify and establish a supply chain with a potential local footprint and content,
  • Helps to identify and establish a relevant strategy to match environmental and socioeconomical tender criteria and specifications,
  • Prepares and drafts parts of the dossiers for relevant internal decision committees

Context and environment

  • In order to support TotalEnergies Renewables's ambition in offshore wind in the context of the new Group Climate ambition (Net zero scope 13 by 2050, 35 GW of REN capacity by 2025), the Offshore Wind team manage a number of various development projects and deals (tenders, M&A, greenfield developments).
  • While growing swiftly, the Offshore Wind team remains a kind of startup within a large Group. As such it combines both ways of managing business. Project mode, initiative and true transversality are of the essence.
  • The Growth department takes care of project portfolio addition until each asset is "awarded", on the basis of opportunities brought by Geographies.
  • Minimum 13 years of experience, most preferably in Renewables industry
  • Business Development / M&A experience
  • Ability to understand financial models
  • Fluency in English is a must another local language would be a plus, especially German
