for the contemplated divestment of its assets producing kaolin, ground calcium carbonate ("GCC"), precipitated calcium carbonate ("PCC"), and talc, which primarily serve the paper markets in North Americas, South America, Asia and Europe.


The future company formed by all these industrial sites, kaolin mine, port and logistic hubs is foreseen to start its operation under a new brand in the course of 2024.

It will offer mineral solutions for industries worldwide.

Currently serving mostly the paper and board markets, the new company will use its global footprint, unique assets and longstanding know-how to develop new business opportunities and foster innovation.

Sustainability is a core value of this company.

With an annual revenue of around 350 million euros in 2023, this activity will employ about 1000 employees.

The Company needs to reinforce the existing teams to operate as a standalone organization but also to meet its ambitious development plans.


Role overview:
Responsible for managing the compensation and benefits function for corporate staff departments.

Responsible for plan, develop and implement new and revised compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures to align with the company's goals and competitive practices.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manages, leads and develops the C&B Team
  • Develops the successor (the high potential C&B Specialist)
  • Builds and maintain the positive and influencing relationship with the executive management
  • Acts as the positive team member of the HR Management Team
  • Designs the set of different compensation and benefits policies
  • Designs the basic compensation structures in the organization (grading system, job evaluation system, job description policy, promotion policy, etc) aligned with the corporate culture and the corporate values
  • Leads different HR Projects (not just projects from the compensation and benefits area)
  • Coordinates compensation processes like the salary planning, bonus planning and incentive schemes development
  • Approves exceptions in the compensation of the individual employees
  • Trains HR Business Partners and line managers in the compensation area (paymix training, etc)
  • Represents the organization at different HR conferences worldwide scope, 1600 people
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources or related field and six years of progressively responsible experience in employee compensation
  • At least one year of experience managing subordinates.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to base and incentive compensation programs, company policies and operations.
  • Knowledge of sales incentives, annual incentives, bonuses, benefits and flexible benefits.
  • Knowledge of international mobility (people assignments, expatriation, etc.) and business travel.
  • Knowledge of Mercer and Korn Ferry
