Your mission

The product manager is responsible for a strategic range of cosmetic ingredients from a business and development point of view.

She/ he sets up effective launch and promotional plans in accordance with the Business Unit's strategy. She/He ensures operational monitoring of her/his action plans for which she/ he is responsible. She/ He is accountable for the growth of turnover and the profitability of her/ his portfolio.

Main Duties:

Design and implement the strategy of the portfolio in charge
Follow the modern trends in cosmetic market to support the growth of the range
Developing the communication around this range and especially on social media to highlight Symrise's expertise
Coordinate project to develop new products and valorise the existing ones
Handle daytoday requests concerning the products portfolio, from internal/external customers in cooperation with Sales, Research & Development, Raw Material Management, Regulatory, Product Safety, Patent, Production, Planning, Quality Control and other relevant departments
Manage technical projects at various customers, in collaboration with Sales, third parties and internal/external testing labs
Develop relevant product information documents (brochures, presentations, quick sheets, advertisements) in coordination with operational Marketing
Customer and congress presentations
Technology scouting in the area of antimicrobials/multifunctionals agents
Business trip: 20%

About you Work Experience in years**: minimum 5 in similar position

Skills Required:

Master Degree in Chemical Science, knowledge in marketing is a plus
Minimum 3 years of experience in cosmetic industry
Knowledge of preservatives and chelating agents used in personal care products preferred
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Good IT skills: MS-Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
Aptitude to communicate and work in multicultural teams in an international environment
Proven ability to efficiently manage multiple and/or complex technical projects
