About the role

Manage the complete lifecycle of "Data Center IT Operations," from organization and scheduling to execution and supervision.
Perform operating system, network and cloud infrastructure administration.
Monitor, troubleshoot and tune up running systems to ensure SLA meet business requirements.
Help to automate common task to improve the support workflow.
Assist and collaborate with R&D DevOps teams.
Help maintain Inventory of assets, software and hardware.
Contribute to document architectures, deployments and installations.
Responsible for data backup and recovery, security and administration.
Participate in Disaster Recovery and Incident Response Planning.
Be part of the On-call duties to support infrastructure and platforms.


Qualifications:

• Proficient in working with a range of Data Center providers (Equinix, Interxion, etc.), including a deep understanding of their procedures and proficient usage of customer portals.
• Experience on public clouds (AWS, AZURE, GCP).
• Experience with private clouds (Mirantis Openstack or Redhat Openstack).
• Experience in one or more of virtualization technologies (OpenStack, KVM, VMWare, Kubernetes and Docker).
• Experience working with Monitoring Tools (Zabbix, Nagios).
• Understanding of firewall rules and VPN deployments.
• Understanding of network protocols and services: IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, NFS.
• Experience working with Databases (install, configure and troubleshooting): MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Experience working inside data center with Various hardware like HP, DELL, Cisco servers.
• Experience working with Tools (install, configure and troubleshooting like Git, ADO, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx).
• Experience with working repository tools like JFrog Artifactory.
• Experience in one or more of Configuration Management tools (puppet, ansible, salt).
• Experience working with continuous integration tools (Jenkins...).
• Experience working with containers (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker...).
• Knowledge about general security awareness and data privacy compliance.

Additional Qualifications

• University Degree relating to information systems or computer science or proved related knowledge or experience.
• Fluent in English to join a global team
• Proficient in French, enabling seamless collaboration with our local partners
• Experience of 35 years in IT Hardware Operations, specializing in the implementation of Servers, Switches, Network Devices, SAN, and diverse Storage Solutions.
• Skilled in handling cabling tasks involving RJ45, Fiber, and Power cords.
• Experience working and troubleshooting in server environments (Windows, Linux)
• Scripting experience in one or more of: Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, Lua, Java.
• Service oriented approach to collaborate with R&D teams.
• Effective at resolving complex challenges.
• Selfmotivated, with a strong sense of professional curiosity, and a quick grasp of new technologies and tasks.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Display a proactive and adaptable nature.
• Highly dedicated and eager to learn on a continuous basis.
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks in a dynamic environment, with tight deadlines.
