Description

We are looking for someone to lead Bolt's engagement with drivers, couriers and fleets on key sector and regulatory issues.

The successful applicant will complement existing driver engagement activity within marketing, public policy, local ops and management teams to deliver community engagement via regular forums, engagement sessions and online channels.

They will foster and develop relationships with the people who use Bolt to ensure we're addressing their concerns about our products and the sector.

Finally, they will also enhance Bolt's engagement with regulators by sharing views and insight from the frontline, both directly and by facilitating forums that share best practice between markets.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Organising regular forums with drivers, fleets and couriers to understand their issues and concerns and to update them on developments within Bolt.
  • Presenting on topics which are relevant to drivers, such as EV transition, passenger and driver safety, remuneration, fraud and processes around blocking or removal.
  • Feeding back on learnings to various stakeholders in the business to ensure Bolt's driver offer is best in class.
  • Spotting and mobilising the most appropriate drivers/couriers/fleets who may wish to speak about Bolt's model or the sector with external audiences.
  • Mapping and responding to trade union and community groups with a view on the Bolt platform, and sharing learnings on this between key markets.
  • Finding ways to collaborate with other influential organisations such as cycle enthusiasts, city planning groups and environmental campaigners.
  • Organising regulatory forums to share learnings and best practice, finding areas of commonality and potential changes which could improve standards for the sector as a whole.
  • Representing Bolt at conferences/events/meetings in various markets, including speaking on panels.

What we are looking for:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in a community management or partnerships type position.
  • Excellent communication in English (written and spoken) other languages such as French, German or Polish are an advantage.
  • Great presentation skills, including in front of large audiences.
  • A people person and good listener with an interest in the platform economy and experience of working closely with community groups.
  • Events and logistics/budget management experience across a variety of countries.
  • Willingness to travel widely, setting deadlines, collaborating with other functions like marketing and ops and project managing a variety of processes.
  • Resilient and capable of adapting to uncomfortable situations and responding to pressure.
  • An understanding of the issues in taxi and private hire would be a distinct advantage, as would previous experience of engaging with trade unions or regulators.
