Your role & mission
:


  • Define McPhy's product strategy in the specialty area, ensuring their competitiveness and their adequation with Market needs.

Act as internal customer for the development team:

specify the products requirement to the Program Managers in charge of program execution, while controlling the progress of product development.

Your main responsibilities:


  • Understand customer needs and develop partnerships with end users
  • Conducting indepth competitive and market intelligence
  • Identify new product and service solutions and determine their feasibility
  • Act as the central internal customer: Define product specifications (PRD definition) and build associated business cases
  • Balance the product and service portfolio, set priorities and allocate budgets to new product introduction (NPI) programs
  • Lead the overall product and program review process: monthly meeting, agenda and action plan
  • Support the Sales & Proposals teams in the definition of the solution and its possible adaptation
  • Control that the Program teams deliver within the planned time, cost and quality and check that there are no discrepancies between the Program, R&D, industrialization, etc.
  • Contribute to the "qualification" of McPhy products
  • Build the sales argument of the product/service to reinforce the differentiation from the competition
  • Ensure standardization and versioning of products and their options
  • Lead the technical documentation writing process: from white paper with the R&D team, to datasheets with the Program and Proposals team
  • Support the organization in the development of technical knowledge, including training & webinars
  • Ensure McPhy visibility at technical conferences, product presentations, etc.

Your Profile:


  • Engineering degree (mechanical, process, electrochemical, electrical...). A PhD or business degree is a plus
  • Significant experience (more than 5 years) in the following functions: Product manager, industrial product design manager
  • Ability to develop business cases and strategic roadmaps
  • Ability to synthesize external information to develop functional specifications
  • Ability to provide support to the organization in developing the technical knowledge of the portfolio
  • Computer skills:
  • Mastery of the office pack
  • Knowledge of planning software (Microsoft Project), and programming software (e.g. VBA) is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and anticipate market trends
  • Ability to question and synthesize technical information
  • Crossfunctional management skills
  • Fluency in English, fluency in a second language (French, German or Italian) is a plus
  • Safety culture
  • Willingness to travel on business

  • Full time position
  • Compensation & Benefits: package with a fixe salary and a bonus
  • Lunch vouchers (8€ per day, 50% covered by McPhy)
  • 75% reimbursement of public transport
  • Reimbursement of bicycle kilometres travelled between home and work (40 cts per kilometers with 300€ limitation per year)
