Team mission:

Our mission is to maintain high-quality and compliant accounting for the GetYourGuide Group.

We aim to accurately account and report financial information, in a timely manner and in accordance with corporate policy and accounting standards, to our internal and external stakeholders.

You will report to the Head of Platform Accounting as a Senior Platform Accountant.


You will:


  • Prepare the monthly reports and support with the preparation of the annual financial statements for the International GetYourGuide entities
  • Conduct General Ledger accounting activities. Prepare and submit VAT filings and support Corporate income tax filing
  • Own accounting related projects (e.g. Business Process Designs & further development of the SAP S4/Hana System)
  • Act as a contact person for internal and external enquiries related to Accounting and Tax Accounting
  • Conduct analysis of accounts and statements, and provide reconciliations in accordance with monthendclose deadlines, and on an adhoc basis
  • Liaise with external parties e.g. auditors, tax consultants

Who you are:


  • Commercially trained, ideally as a tax clerk or accountant; a business degree is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the finance department of a mediumsized company, ideally in the ecommerce sector
  • Very good knowledge of the commercial code; IFRS and group accounting are a plus
  • Excellent analytical and MS Excel skills
  • Excellent English skills, Germa is a plus
  • Independent and structured way of working as well as a team player with reliable time managemen
