Poste à pourvoir en SUISSE dans le canton du VALAIS

As process development R&D Manager you will lead the Process Development Group within the R&D department. You will manage a team of 20 people (7 chemical engineers and 13 laboratory technician). You will manage directly the 7 chemical engineers. You will report at the R&D site director.


Your responsibilities:


  • You will act as an interface for crossdivisional activities, especially in the introduction of new
  • You will be responsible for adhering to the time and budget requirements.
  • You will actively support the evaluation and planning of new projects.
  • You will be responsible for the process development stagegate and workflow process.
  • You will challenge processes and in coordination with the customer (e.g. project manager,
production chemist, QA, AD) - seeks for continuous process improvements.

  • You will represent the client to the customer in projectspecific meetings and telephone
conferences.

  • You will follow all standard regulations pertaining to his / her work.
  • You will verify the feasibility of synthesis routes in the laboratory.

Your profile:


  • You have a Phd in organic chemistry.
  • You have already 5 years' experience as manager.
  • You have minimum 5 years of experience in the chemistry or pharmaceutical environment.
  • You are a real teamplayer, human and empathic.
  • You have very good communication skills.
  • You are speaking very well French and English.
