This role is for physicists, mathematicians and geophysicists, looking for a career where they can continue to develop their scientific skills and knowledge.

This job is based in Massy, a town in the greater Parisian region.

The world beneath our feet is incredibly complex and the source of the natural resources fundamental to the functioning of our society.

We utilise the latest signal processing, modelling and imaging techniques and some of the most advanced compute facilities in the world to build high-resolution 3D images & models of subsurface structures and rock properties for our clients.


The Geophysicist is responsible for taking charge of a processing step in an imaging project/a moderately complex reservoir characterization project and must ensure that the step/project is performed on time as per the project schedule.


  • Possess and applies broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to the completion of moderately complex assignments
  • Involved with taking charge of processing step (denoise, demult, regularization ) or moderately complex reservoir characterization project.
  • May provide suggestions to improve existing software, develop new technology, and improve the products and services offered
  • Works with Project or Team Leaders to ensure clients are happy and satisfied with product
  • Responsible for a processing step in an imaging project or moderately complex reservoir characterization project and follows all project management protocol and QC standards.
  • Responsible for setting up, running, and monitoring processing/reservoir characterization job decks

Qualifications:


Integrated or postgraduate
Masters or PhD in any of the following disciplines
:Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics, Astrophysics/Astronomy, Earth Sciences and Natural Sciences with a Physics specialisation.

Recruitment process:

Our recruitment process for this position consists 3 steps. Once your resume passes the screening round, you will be invited to a short automated video interview. Success at this stage is then followed by a final stage technical interview with some of our geophysical managers.
