About the Role


Under the direction of the Director, Sales & Marketing, Southern Europe, the incumbent will handle accounts for all Kerzner hotels (One&Only, Atlantis Dubai, Rare Finds and Siro).


Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Duties include, but are not limited to, developing new key accounts, maintaining/growing opportunities with existing account and achieving sales goals.
  • Full account management responsibility for assigned key accounts, with a core focus on B2B and B2C Tour Operators.
  • Effectively manage all accounts including negotiating contracts, brochure contribution/ space/ layout/ copy approval
  • Assist with the growth in revenues with a strategy on increasing ADR.
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by constantly monitoring account performance and increasing market share.
  • Identify and profile new market opportunities and activations with our key partners.
  • Manage a joint marketing fund and agree joint promotions and advertising ensuring that budgets are adhered to and deliver required ROI
  • To produce, implement and constantly update detailed ADP's (Account Development Plans) for each managed asset, address clients' needs to exceed their expectations
  • To represent Kerzner hotels at international trade shows and industry events
  • Work with Director to plan, organize and host client events, familiarization trips, trade and consumer shows, and internal clients/ hotels' sales calls.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships with industry partners (Tourist Boards, Airlines and DMCs (Destination Management Centers)
  • Maintain a high level of market intelligence, looking at COMP-SET strategies and pricing to make recommendations for strategic or tactical amendments to help dominate and shift MKT share.
  • To plan and attend clients' (TOs, TAs) training sessions, as needed and required, to enhance clients' productivity and improve revenue generation.
  • To create an outstanding brand image in every interaction with clients, use approved presentation materials & procedures to ensure brand consistency.
  • To set high performance standards and to pursue aggressive goals.
  • To strive for constant improvements and to take responsibility for achieving business results and persevere despite obstacles.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in travel industry with strong account management knowledge, hotel experience preferably (Working for or representing a brand)
  • A university degree, an advantage but not essential
  • Strong Communication Skills (written, verbal and formal presentation style)
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint)
  • Speaks English Fluently
