with our customers.As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Senior Sales Support Agent - Western Europe.
Based in Paris, you will support the sales team to achieve their assigned revenue targets by providing technical support and data.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Provide the Sales Manager and the sales team with the necessary market intelligence, reports, highlighting the opportunities to improve revenue, yields and market share
- Contributes in Managing distribution channels and database for the sales team, be local CRS contact person
- Use of analytical tools to generate market share, revenue and sales data.
- Tracking and reporting of ROI on advertising, promotions, sponsorships, and sales activities
- Use and administration of sales activity management software/system.
- Coordination and submission of annual marketing activity plans and budgets.
- Maintain record of all fare approvals and corporate contracts for future reference and audit purpose.
- Provide maximum technical support to the Sales Force to ensure increased awareness of Qatar Airways products and services.
- Maintain customer database of travel industry, wholesalers, consortiums, SME accounts, corporate account.
- Handle inquires, problems encountered by the corporate/ Agent and liaise with the relevant departments at head office, if required.
- Research and analyse individual markets and place Qatar Airways in a very visible in the market and secure maximum market share of traffic on Qatar Airways network.
- Monitoring systems/key account intranets for content/QR presence/competitor activities
- Assist in develop Sales and Marketing Plans, PLB contracts, sales/marketing reports, PLB monthly/yearly reports.
- Assist in development, manage and execute Sales/Marketing Budget, FOC and Educational allocation
- Assist in evaluating and managing sponsorship and advertising campaigns
- Prepare travel agency and corporate fare updates, policy changes, product updates and distribute via electronic and hard copy
- Prepare flyers and updates fare circulars to the trade and corporate accounts.
- Coordination and distribution of all POS and promotional collateral
- Evaluate and submit group/adhoc fare requests for specific sectors based on availability of seats forecasted load of the flight and the revenue
- Assist in analysing existing fares, RBD, tactical and other fares
- Prepare/Assist in business case recommendations to Qatar Airways HQ for additional revenue channels, fare initiatives, destinations initiatives, additional QR operations and additional frequencies
- Advice load control personnel and other stations of changes in passenger itinerary to control space and ensure utilization of seating capacity on flights
Qualifications - External
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with minimum 3 years related job experience
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Airline Reservations & Ticketing skills
- Basic fares and ticketing with IATA passenger prorating.
- Strategic marketing, planning and analytic skills will be advantage.
- Excellent oral and written communications and customer service skills.
- Computer literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Power point.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate projects; effectively present and resolve critical business initiatives within corporate functional areas Preferred
