The operations branch of ICC' Dispute Resolution Services is responsible for providing the framework within which all DRS stakeholders, including the International Court of Arbitration and its Secretariat, perform their work.

DRS Operations is composed of several teams providing support services, managing tools & participating in projects which collectively support all DRS and case management activities.


ICC DRS is hiring a
Project Officer, DRS IT Solutions to provide support for the existing and future tools of the DRS ecosystem.


The role

  • Provide ongoing support to internal & external users for all DRS tools and software (ICAbase, SICANAbase, SCIAB, EFIN*, ICC Case Connect, 360X, SAP etc)
  • Provide any user support (guidance, assistance etc), technical support, training or user materials (guides, FAQs etc) required to enable new and existing users to perform their roles
  • Assist in ensuring that core case management objectives remain unimpacted throughout digital transformation projects (payments, recaps, case closing, data entry and correction, document uploads, case creation, etc.)
  • Manage inboxes / incoming requests for support, coordinating with other departments if DRS IT Solutions / helpdesk cannot provide the required support
  • Endtoend follow up of user issue support (from user liaison, ticket creation, testing, implementation, control and followup)
  • Participate in testing the work delivered by the external developers
  • Provide clear and concise feedback for the external providers
  • Attend project status update meetings as required
  • Collaborate with individual department members to optimise the case management software
  • Prepare training materials
  • Participate in User Acceptance Tests for the new platform
  • Prepare and participate in user training as required
  • Perform various tasks required for digital transformation projects (meeting organisation and participation, document preparation, administrative tasks, reporting, research, staff support, tests, project followup and ticketing, etc.)
  • Assist as required in reporting on user support needs, volume and processes

Requirements:


  • A strong sense of customer service combined with excellent written and oral communication skills are a must
  • University degree in a discipline relevant to this position
  • Prior experience in arbitration, ADR and/or legal training field considered an advantage
  • Familiarity with project management principles and demonstrated ability to participate in projects an advantage
  • Good organisational, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Full ability to operate in an autonomous manner and to be proactive
  • Full ability to meet reporting obligations, communicate well as part of a team and adopt a transparent, coordinated approach to tasks and projects
  • Orientation to detail
  • Fluency in English & French, other languages a plus

The position is based in Paris, France


Type of Contract and duration:
CDD - 18 months


Start date:
as soon as possible, ideally January 2023


Compensation:
Competitive, contingent on skills and experience
