ActiveViam has shown that its proprietary software Atoti+ is the leading technology to interactively analyze datasets from Gigabytes to Terabytes.

Atoti+ can harness the largest machines of Cloud platforms and on-premise DataCenters to make all the CPUs work at a blazing speed on their Terabyte RAMs filled with client data.

But this falls short in comparison to solutions like Snowflake capable of handling Petabytes of data.

In this context, ActiveViam started working on an integration with Snowflake and BigQuery, among others, offering users a direct access to their data via SQL in those solutions while adding the powerful computations and analysis tools of Atoti+.

Atoti+ customers often analyse fast-moving data, especially in verticals like investment banking and e-commerce.

To complete the integration with cloud database systems, Atoti+ therefore needs to be aware of the changes in the underlying database to efficiently update its internal data structures and offer up-to-date information to its users.

Internship description

In our team of technical and business experts, you will have the opportunity to learn Atoti+, ActiveViam's cutting edge In-Memory Data Analytics solution and you will implement a new use case on Climate / ESG Data Analytics that will be used for our client demonstrations.

The Business Development team that you will join is responsible for developing the company offering by identifying and implementing new use cases to support the sales team at each phase of their relationship with the prospects and customers.

During this internship you will:

• Learn and master the Atoti+ Python API,
• Understand the Climate / ESG data provided by our partner MSCI,
• Design the architecture and data model of our future Climate Risk analytical platform,
• Develop (python code) and package the prototype to make it available for the whole team,
• Create a story to demo the results,
• Give a final demo to the potential clients.

You are

• Last year of master's degree in Engineering / Computer Sciences,
• Experience in Python and/or Java programming required,
• Experience with Data Analytics would be a plus,
• Passion for identifying problems, participating in solutions definition and then wanting to personally convince people of their right fit,
• Genuine interest in technologies and how they can empower business people to do their job more efficiently, in particular when it comes to analyzing data to steer the business,
• Good English: verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills,
• Experience with React / Javascript skills would be a plus
