    Director of Product Management, Hospitality Enterprise Platform

    About the role

    The Director, Above Property Product has responsibility over a solution portfolio that generates annual revenues of over 150M EUR (planned to double in a few years).

    As a key leader of the Above Property team, you will directly lead cross-product and functional teams around the globe including New York, Orlando, Nice, Ottawa, Madrid, and Barcelona.

    You will directly manage the budget & investment priorities for 1,000+ FTEs within the Hospitality R&D organizations and is responsible for ensuring the profitability & long-term growth of the business lines while also maintaining high levels of customer and employee satisfactions (NPS).

    This area represents the core of the Hospitality strategy and has the most complex programs with large multi-year client engagement.

    Your main responsibilities

    Deliver P&L & LTP objectives

  • Ensure the P&L and LTP objectives are achieved globally for Amadeus Central Reservation System (ACRS), Guest Management System (GMS), RES & WEB business units.
  • Ensure all teams within hospitality accept accountability for the investment budgets, revenue and sales targets and are organized & aligned to successfully achieve the goals.
  • Lead the budget arbitration given to all product maintenance & evolution investments in accordance with short-term P&L targets and LTP growth.
  • Platform & Portfolio Strategy and Delivery

  • Define & lead the ACRS, RES, GMS, & WEB solution strategy.
  • Lead vision of the Hospitality suite that delivers product investments driving top line growth, anticipates changing customer demands, and drives a leading competitive position.
  • Define the corresponding product investment, evolution & innovation strategies to maximize business value.
  • Ensure cooperation & knowledge transfer with all stakeholders to secure the maximum level of awareness and adoption of solutions.
  • Drive the adoption and execution of the Amadeus Safe Agile methodology with RnD.
  • Enterprise Platform & Portfolio Strategy

  • Build for and ensure extensibility of the CRS & GMS solution strategy into the overall Enterprise Platform & Portfolio vision to generate a fully integrated Hospitality suite including CRM, Sales & Catering, SO, Business Intelligence, Hotel Distribution, Property Management System (PMS), etc.
  • Translate the Enterprise Solution Portfolio strategy & vision into concrete product roadmaps within the assigned investment envelope, P&L objectives, and LTP.
  • Platform Convergence & Customer Platform Migrations

  • Drive the technical, operational and organization convergence of multiple legacy solutions within the existing Amadeus Hospitality portfolio into an integrated suite of solutions.
  • Ensure all customers are successfully migrated to the future target platform / portfolio.
  • Key customer Pre-sales, Retention & Delivery Support

  • Provide specialist product & solution expertise to the sales team for complex bids during all phases of the sales cycle, from RFI & RFPs responses through commercial and legal negotiations.
  • Provide expertise to the Operation team for complex high valued client retention needs including escalation support, contract re-negotiation, and Enterprise product strategy alignment.
  • Assist the Customer Delivery teams to ensure that key projects are delivers within the defined scope, budget and target timeframes.
  • Prioritize and balance delivery expectations/commitment to protect strategic and growth investments.
  • Commercial policy & Go to Market

  • Deliver inputs and recommendations into commercial pricing & bundling strategy to maximize profitability of the hospitality portfolio.
  • Inform the commercial guidelines for large Driver Customer deals and coordinate the issuance of large deals through the Hospitality deal desk.
  • Support the overall product and portfolio Go To Market process including, market entry priorities (with Sales & Strategy), product launch communication (with marketing), Sales Force training, help desk preparation, etc.
