The
SCOR Asset Owner Office oversees the management of the invested assets of SCOR Group.

Within the Asset Owner Office, the Investment Risk and Compliance team monitors market/credit risk and compliance of the invested assets portfolios on behalf of the Group and each entity.

The team is small, dynamic, and international, providing various ad hoc risk analysis as well as ongoing risk following.


The aim of this apprenticeship is to participate to the enhancement of compliance monitoring of SCOR group and its subsidiaries.

The alternant will help with ongoing risk management and compliance monitoring needs and ad hoc requests. Particularly to define and develop monitoring tools for regulatory reports and to support top management's decisions.

Under the supervision of the AOO investment risk controller:

  • Participate in the weekly and quarterly reporting on compliance, including escalation of breaches to make sure that the management is aware of the anomalies. Work with asset managers to take timely remediation actions if necessary.
  • Participate in weekly and quarterly reporting on Market risk, including calculation of risk figures and production of risk following reports.
  • Enhance the existing compliance monitoring tool (Power BI). Develop tools (queries, analysis) with related documentation.
  • Participate in adhoc analysis aimed at improving the market/credit risk measures of invested assets
  • Participate in the quarterly creditrisk process (IFRS9)
  • Help produce specific reports for external stakeholders (including ESGrelated topics)
  • Participate in ongoing improvement of risk tools.
  • Quantitative/development background, preferably in final year of studies (Bac+5) with a specialization in finance.
  • Good competencies in computing/coding with knowledge of VBA, SQL, power BI.
  • General knowledge of financial markets and an appetite for ESG and risks.
  • Strong level of English, both written and spoken.
  • Rigorous, autonomous, and curious, can take initiative while also working well in a team.
