Within the Indirect global procurement team, the Category Manager in charge of Travel (travel agency, air travel, hotel program, short term car rental, payment card) will have the responsibility ofdedfining globally category strategy together with category community and key business stakeholders

Entity and activity description

The Head Office groups together the main cross-functional functions (marketing, legal, finance, human resources, shareholder relations, communication, etc.).

The corporate teams define strategies in their field of expertise and provide assistance and advice to the various Group entities.

Missions & Responsibilities

Within the Indirect global procurement team, the Category Manager in charge of Travel which represents a annual spend of 80 M€ (travel agency, air travel, hotel program, short term car rental, payment card) will have the following responsibilities on Travel procurement:

  • Define globally category strategy together with category community and key business stakeholders
  • Coordinate execution of category strategy (RFx process, bids evaluation, negotiation, suppliers award and contracting) and animate category globally throughout the Hubs
  • Monitor and report operational and financial performance of category
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor their performance (Business reviews, quarterly SLAs review )
  • Perform supplier risk management and qualification process
  • Develop internal customer feedback on category strategies and Supplier Performance
- **Consolidate and present Category Management action plan to his/her Management

Master degree Purchasing/ Business / Engineering

Prior experience in similar job for 2 to 5 years
