We are currently seeking a meticulous Associate to join our team and play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing our governance, oversight, and controls.

Responsibilities:


  • Periodic portfolio review and analysis of bank counterparties by developing comprehensive financial models and conducting stress tests.
  • Assessment of operating environment and Client's industry; Monitor regulatory updates and financial news.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the regulatory framework and requirements relevant to our operations.
  • Discuss other pertinent risk aspects, including parental and/or governmental linkage/support.
  • Articulate the Client's strategy and assess execution risks.
  • Evaluate risks associated with particular proposed transactions, if required and ensure that all credit propositions are both coherent and meet requirements.
  • Provision of insightful, relevant, and timely credit analysis across GB European FI client portfolio, including thorough, proactive monitoring of risks and forwardlooking view over an appropriate time horizon, involving (if required) detailed modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Assist CA Team Leaders and team members with ad hoc projects as needed.
- _Education_: A strong academic background with a Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, or accounting from an accredited university (minimum 2.1 or equivalent).
- _Experience:_ _Minimum of 1-3 years in a similar role or at a rating agency.
- _ _Knowledge:_ Profound understanding of accounting and financial principles, with the ability to interpret a bank's balance sheet and income statement. In-depth knowledge of the macroeconomic and regulatory landscape in Europe.
- _Skills:_ Expertise in Excel and Word to effectively analyze data and present findings.

Strong analytical skills, particularly in the assessment and calibration of FI credit risk.
- _Languages:_ Fluency in both
English and French, enabling seamless communication in our diverse environment.
