Mission and Main Objectives


The "Total Customer Satisfaction" (TCS) department is based in the AMIEO (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe and Oceania) region and is responsible for end-to-end customer satisfaction.

This responsibility is for both "product" and "experience" quality throughout the entire lifetime of the customer journey.


The TCS Field Engineering Team is responsible for investigating concerns in the market, capturing key technical information and generating concise reports.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities


The Field Engineer will liaise closely with the TCS Model Engineering Group and, using tools such as Capture Database (a warranty claim early detection tool) and Breakdown call out feeds, will discuss concerns with Regional Business Unit (RBU) Engineers, Dealer Technicians, Roadside Assist Technicians, Customers as well as investigate vehicles and/or parts to make the concern clear.


Based on this information and guided by fact and data, Field Engineers will document concerns on a technical report and pass them on to the Model Engineering Group.


Further responsibilities:

Receiving and managing Capture early detection feeds in the French market
Clarifying priority of concern, gathering information from Dealers, Customers etc.
Coordinating investigations by the Team of Nissan France and reporting the follow up performance on Capture
Supporting technical investigations on vehicles in the market where required

Background & Experience

Higher Technical qualification / Engineering Degree
Strong vehicle knowledge / technical skills including automotive workshop experience (such as a Flying Doctor)
A high level of self-motivation as well as the ability to motivate others, both internally and externally.
Proven experience of concern analysis and problem solving.
Customer orientated approach and able to work autonomously with clear focus on company and departmental objectives.
Proven ability to operate cross-functionally at all levels.
Strong English / French - written and verbal communication skills
Strong data analysis skills
