Contexte

:

SYSTRA's ambition is to be a sustainable signature for transport solutions and a thought leader in sustainability. Sustainable design is one of main pillar to provide a business advantage and support our client expectations.

The Sustainability Department reports directly to the Management Board and leads this ambition and roadmap.

Following an increase in activities on deploying internal sustainable practices and support group initiatives, the Sustainability Department is reinforcing its team and is looking for a Senior Sustainable Design Consultant.

Reporting to the Group Sustainability Director and interfacing with BUs group-wide, you will use your multidisciplinary expertise to support the activities related to Sustainable design, which more specifically involve:

Supporting the deployment of the SYSTRA Framework on Sustainable Design & Construction, in coordination with the different BUs, and steering reporting on the Framework's KPIs.
Contribute to awareness sessions and webinars on various sustainability topics.
Participating in the creation of content internally for knowledge sharing (e.g., via the Sustainable Design & Construction community and the Ecotheque) and externally to position the company as an opinion leader.
Providing the necessary support to BUs in the management of projects to better integrate the sustainability challenges during project development and delivery.
Providing support for bids and tenders across the group's BUs when local expertise in Sustainability is not available.

Compétences techniques

:

Education

:

An engineering degree, architect or equivalent, in addition to a specialisation in Sustainability (degree, or certification). You have experience 5 to 10 years minimum in the field of infrastructure projects or construction.

Number of years of experience: 5-10

Technical skills

:

Strong knowledge of climate change challenges (climate adaptation, carbon emissions, biodiversity, energy efficiency etc.) and a complete understanding and experience of sustainable design with its economic and technical components
Good knowledge of sustainable design certification systems (LEED, BREEAM, HQE, Pearl, etc.)
Indepth experience in projects (design or construction), as well as references in project management and bid preparation
BIM experience will be appreciated to support implementation of Carbontracker, but also interactions with BUs on projects
Excellent communication and writing skills in both English and French
