Global Market Access and Health Economics Specialist


As Global Market Access and Health Economics Specialist, you design and implement economic research studies that provide economic perspective for clinical and/or pre-clinical product portfolio decisions, marketing, product reimbursement strategies and regulatory agency submissions.

What You Will Do

  • Participate in the development and communication of reimbursement and economic value tools for Stryker NV products by providing health economic and reimbursement support for internal (i.e. Sales, Marketing, etc.) and external customers.
  • This includes gathering and formatting data for health economic studies, preparing data for sales targeting, and collecting and distributing reimbursement information that describes coverage, coding, and payment.
  • Monitor payer policy activities on technology coverage and payment concerning Stryker NV devices as well as competitor market access activities and identification of potential funding issues.
  • In collaboration with the local commercial team, implement in the field the relevant tools showing the economic and strategic value in addition of the clinical value.
  • Training and education of colleagues in the use of Health Economic models and tools to demonstrate the value of Stryker NV products (marketing, sales etc.)
  • Increase awareness by coleading with physician's webinar on Health Economics & by managing publications of HE analysis in peer review journal.
What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in economics, health economics, market access
  • 13 years of health economic experience relevant to medical devices
  • Broad knowledge in Market Access & Reimbursement systems (including health policy / payer environment)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) & other language would be a plus
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Strong communication skills and experience developing interpersonal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively work independently with mínimal supervision or as part of a team and flexibility to adapt to project needs in a fastpaced environment
