    The Role

    Job Overview:

    We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer, willing to work in a multicultural and diverse environment, interested in building strong relationships with various teams in multi design centres

    As a methodology engineer working in the Design Enablement, Methodology and Support team, your main role will consist in helping in the benchmarking, deployment and support of new solutions to enable best in class designs.

    Working in close collaboration with methodology experts, as well as design teams and EDA vendors, you will be involved from the methodology definition up to deployment and maintenance for use in production.

    Based in Sophia Antipolis, our design centre is built to high-level environmental and wellbeing standards (LEED and WELL certified respectively).

    Responsibilities:

  • Work on implementation CAD and methodology definition, deployment, and support for all flows/steps from RTL to silicon tape out.
  • Provide flow guidance and support to internal implementation design teams in Europe and worldwide, from issue reproduction to work around/solution definition, up to its application in the field.
  • Participate in benchmarking EDA tools features and versions.
  • Build demonstrators for new features and methodologies.
  • Required Skills and Experience:

  • BE/BTECH/MTECH (electronics) or equivalent
  • Good problem solving and debugging skills
  • Great curiosity, energy and willingness to learn
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Scripting (Tcl, python, ...) and automation
  • Unix
  • Fluent oral and written English
  • "Nice To Have" Skills and Experience:

  • Chip design life cycle, EDA tools and main methodologies
