    Job Description

    As Senior Category Manager, you are part of the Group Procurement Organisation. Fully integrated into the Global Category Management Teams, your main responsibility are :

    IT & Guest Technologies (GT) - Category Expertise

    • Own & propose category strategy for GT & IT categories (included but not limited to Core Software, ERP, Hardware, Resellers, Cloud)
    • Develop and define sourcing strategies for GT & IT as per above categories
    • Ease, formulate and deliver the Category Strategy, the understanding of drivers, market forces, SWOT, etc.
    • Support category knowledge to grow procurement offers and drive category expertise

    Guest Technologies - Suppliers mgt & market Knowledge

    • Manage International IT & GT contracts/suppliers
    • Secure sustainable partnership with strategic suppliers
    • Accountable for category suppliers' management (Governance & Business Review)
    • Secure supplier selection processes with RFI / RFQ
    • Ensure the best conditions in the market
    • Ease business & market intelligence

    Spend & Budget

    • Control spend of IT & GT to capture Rate of specific categories
    • Responsible for the budget achievement and for cost optimization (cost out & savings)
    • Manage remuneration processes
    • Crunch data

    IT & GT - Support Category Visibility

    • Support and actively promote the Group procurement functions for direct & indirect procurement
    • Develop category communities for all regions & departments
    • Align category strategy with key internal & external stakeholders
    • Communicate, co-operate and involve relevant stakeholders to drive the overall strategy
    • Engage and secure an open and direct dialogue with stakeholders
    • Able to sell solutions internally, but also to external customers
    • Ease & support the IT savings targets with managing from A to Z projects

    Coordination of transversal projects

    • Participation in projects for Sustainability / Marketing (eg zero plastic)
    • Inflation/Deflation reporting and tracking
    • Identify and implement solution to increase the capture rate
    • Track KPIs implementation to monitor category performance & adoption
    • Report & follow remuneration processes (declaration, budget, forecasts, payments, etc.)
    Qualifications

    As Senior Category Manager you should :

    • Demonstrate agility & resilience to changes
    • Be able to deal with Direct & Indirect procurement
    • Lead at an international level the Guest Technologies portfolio (suppliers, hotels, customers)
    • Maintain and improve global performance (Contracts, data, savings)
    • Be able to develop the relationship with all brands and customers to increase compliance
    • Develop leadership with internal/external customers to satisfy their expectations by increasing business opportunities worldwide
    • Position is international, and requires to deal with many stakeholders
    • Manage market uncertainty

    In addition, as the right candidate, you should have the below requested formation & experience :

    • At least 6 years experience indirect & direct procurement with an international background
    • Relevant work experiences in negotiation
    • Proven track record as a Category Manager & Buyer
    • Awareness in distribution, BtB, or BtC, E-commerce
    • Contract management
    • Experience in required categories
    • Hospitality experience is a plus

    Last but not the least, the candidate should have :

    • Ability to listen & understand to customer's needs (stakeholders & hotels
    • Work in international environment
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills
    • Influencing skills & ease flexibility in approach between different stakeholders
    • Personal integrity and strong work ethics
    • Required language skills: Fluent English (Daily working language), French will be a plus and any others.
