Salon 24

Thematically designed as a retrospective of the historic Parisian salons, Salon 24 is an immersive hospitality experience inspired by the visionary founder of the modern Olympics, Pierre de Coubertin.

Well known for his involvement with sport, Coubertin's philosophy of "giving ones best and striving for perfection", also translated to a unique advocacy for artistic and cultural expression.

Following in Coubertin's footsteps through the Paris Olympic games from 1924 through present day, Salon 24 will celebrate the evolution of 100 years of sport, art and culture.

THE ROLE
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

Primary Responsibilities:

Support the F&B Manager and Venue Manager onsite at Maison de l'Amérique Latine with the daily planning and operations of the Salon 24 premium hospitality experience
Manage the BOH staff to ensure deliveries are stored and stock rotations are adhered to.
Coordinate daily delivery schedules working directly with both in house and external suppliers.
And also making the link with all suppliers, when they need to use the auditorium for making their brief
I would like that person to organize the planning and communication between teams.
Connecting with suppliers and various other teams for planning and operation of the auditorium.
Report directly to F&B Manager and coordinate daily staff schedule for L2/L3 Supervisors.
To support the delivery of an exceptional hospitality experience to the guests
Provide a friendly and welcoming meet and greet service with efficiency.
Assist guests throughout their journey and deal effectively with any issues or challenges that arise to make the guest experience a memorable one.

Specific Responsibilities of Deliveries and Back of House Manager:
Planning and maintaining the daily deliveries schedule

Communicating directly with vendors requiring to book in deliveries and providing them with adequate information to allow a successful delivery

Collecting vehicle details in advance of the arrivals to allow security to perform appropriate checks before arrivals
Communicating with internal teams working at Salon 24 to update them on status their deliveries

Management of staff

All staff will have to be trained on the workings of the venue. This will be the job of each of the Managers to train the staff for their relevant sections.
Deliveries and Back of House Manager will be expected to make sure all PPE equipment required for receiving deliveries is available and worn by all relevant parties. Both internal and external staff.

Operational Cover

On the rare occasion that one of the other floor managers is late or unable to make a shift, all managers should be expected to step in to this position until appropriate cover has been found. This means they should be trained on all areas of the venues should assistance be required.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

This position is responsible for managing direct reports and carrying out managerial responsibilities according to the organization's policies and applicable laws.
