Vos missions:


Par sa filiale Eiffage Metal UK Ltd, Eiffage Métal intervient également sur le chantier d'installation de 5 viaducs en Angleterre sur le tracé HS2, de ligne ferroviaire haute vitesse entre Londres et Birmingham.

Ce projet technique s'inscrit dans la volonté de développement à l'international du groupe.

Responsible for:

  • Analyse and understand the Contract, Project Specification, Temporary Works Design Documents (Erection Drawings, etc.), Environment and Site Constraints.
  • Check that Temporary Works Design Documents are in line with site methodologies requirements.
  • Develop monitor and update the overall tentative site programme and actual progress of the works to achieve the contractual completion date.
  • Determine the required manpower to deliver the works considering their training/competency and availability.
  • Determine the required plant, equipment, and specialist equipment (bespoke) to deliver the works.
  • Determine and chase the required input from Client and other Stakeholders.
  • Source appropriate suppliers and subcontractors by ensuring they comply with the Project requirements, request for quotations, analyse the quotes, negotiate the terms and conditions, and issue the appropriate Purchase Orders.
  • Develop, monitor and update the cost forecast of the site works and identify all the potential opportunities (efficiencies) and risks to be shared with the Project Manager for assessment of the choices to be made.
  • Develop monitor and update and detailed 3 weekly lookahead programme with associated narrative.
  • Develop and utilise relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Client, Subcontractors, Third Parties, etc.) to deliver the works, ensuring where required, specific information is passed to the site team for inclusion in their work.
  • Attend site weekly/progress meetings with Client and/or Subcontractors on behalf of the Project Manager.
  • Manage the site team (including the Foreman) by setting clear objectives, encouraging good practices, support the skill development and regulate inappropriate behaviours.
  • Day to day management of the construction activities, assisting the Project Manager to achieve the required delivery strategy and objectives.
  • Monitor and coordinate subcontractors in the performance of their works and ensure they have all required information to carry out their duties.
  • Ensure compliance of the implemented Temporary Works on site with the Designs Documents and escalate to the Project Manager any issue.
  • Laise with the Health & Safety Officer to ensure compliance to all statute, standards, company policies, procedures including health, safety, environment and quality (inc. LOLER certificates of the lifting accessories and thorough examination).
  • Understand and implement ownership of Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and their Checklists (ITC) ensuring compliance throughout the site installation phases and Inspection of materials on delivery to site.
  • Understand and implement Quality, Assurance and Completion requirements to ensure ITP's and ITC's conform to Client's requirements and ensure records are compiled to support the timely handover of project assets.
  • Use relevant IT systems to manage documentation and records.
  • Awareness of a nonconformance and product defect process, including root cause analysis.
  • Provide feedback and lessons learnt
You are responsible for your own health and safety while at work and for the safety of any other person who may be affected by your acts or omissions


You are responsible for:

  • Complying with the requirements of the Company's Policy Statements.
  • Complying with the detailed responsibilities as set out within the Company's Business Management System.
  • Developing the Work Package Plans/Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Lift Plans and enforcing associated Safe Systems of Work for all activities performed on site.

Votre profil:


  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction role (General Foreman or Site Engineer), steel bridgework environment would be preferable.
  • CSCS Card Holder (or affiliated scheme)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent communication and engagement skills
  • Ability to work with Foreman and Supervisors and sitebased workforce
