For Central Europe entities yours mains missions will be:

Play a key role in fostering a cash-oriented mindset within Central Europe;
Monitor commercial & production margins per product;
Monitor capital expenditures (CapEx) & Operating Expenses (OpEx);
Take part in consolidating budget and actual results of Central Europe entities;
Perform ad hoc analyses about margins and costs.

Responsibilities:

Review and improve commercial margin calculation

Review margin calculation method in each CE entities and identify gaps with Corporate method;
Implement, with the sponsoring of CE Financial Manager, Corporate method to all CE entities;
Ensure that unit margins are calculated in all CE entities according to given instructions.

Participate in developing an industrial mindset in production activities

Review and formalize production cost calculation for farm activities (Croatia), propose improvements when applicable;
Review and formalize production cost calculation for seed production activity (all countries), propose improvements when applicable;
Audit and take part in improving WIP stock management in Navision;
Participate in calculating inventory values.

Analyse CapEx & OpEx on a regular basis

Identify and explain deviations vs. budget / forecasts;
Give valuable suggestions on cost optimization;
Take an active part in implementing new CapEx tracking tool ("Board") in all CE entities;
Realise or assist in business cases and ROI calculation related to new investments or projects.

Play an important role in budget and forecast process

Prepare Margin, OpEx and CapEx templates for individual Central Europe entities and consolidated figures;
Communicate with Country Managers during budget and forecast sessions.

Participate in business development

Participate in elaborating dashboards and KPI for Central Europe Management;
After validation, implement these dashboards and keep them updated;
Participate in business software tests, including but not limited to Navision and BI tools.

Profile:

Eligibility Conditions for Business France contract: years old, EEA-citizen

Master degree (or equivalent) in Controlling or Corporate Finance
First experience in a similar position or in audit is appreciated
First working or living experience (min. 4 months) in an international environment is recommended

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of a second language (Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian) is appreciated but not mandatory

Excellent command of MS office
Knowledge of Navision and BI report is appreciated

Driving licence is useful

Timeliness, analytics skills
Good interpersonal skills, team-spirited
Eager to learn, willing to participate in structuring and improving current organisation

Avantages:

Business France contract (International Volunteer in Business / V.I.E.)
Remuneration level according to Business France specificities for Hungary
Contract term: 12 months renewable up to 24 months
