You will be based in Paris and will be part of the RSC (Rolling Stock and Component) Planning Start-up Team, a team of planning experts whose mission is to support critical projects all over Alstom RSC sites.


Your responsabilities will include:

The support of selected critical projects to build a robust planning at early phase of the project:

  • Empower and coach the planner(s) in order to ensure their autonomy once you will the project
  • Review the tender assumptions and support the tender to project continuity
  • Challenge the planning to ensure the robustness of the "End to End" planning
  • Provide support and guidance on all planning topics, including the identification of the critical path(s) and of the possible degradated mode versus the standard sequencing logic that project may have to take to secure the deliveries to the customer as per our commitment.
  • Propose relevant action plans

The collection of REX from the supported projects to support a continuous improvment of the planning metier:

  • Contribute to the REX structuration brainstorming of recurrent issues on planning
  • Feed the REX tool with all identified recurrent issues on the projects
  • Provide the REX on the Design For Quality process to ensure the proper design maturity is reached as expected.

Challenge the planning of critical projects during Maturity Assessment:

  • Participate to the project maturity assessment made by the central development performance team to provide expertise on planning topics
  • Challenge the project to ensure the planning is competitive, robust and realistic

Contribute to the improvement of planning culture inside the Chief of Develpment community

  • Participate to regular chief of development community meeting to collect planning questions and share planning messages
  • Develop and sustain the training module associated to Chief of Development Academy
