Director of Marketing and Admissions (DMA)

ICN International College Paris (ICNIC) is the latest addition to our fast-growing portfolio across Europe.

In partnership with ICN Business School (with locations in Paris, Nancy, Berlin), as Director for Marketing & Admissions (DMA) you will create the recruitment and growth strategy for the college and the partnership from the ground up, driving student recruitment and contributing to the internationalisation strategy of the university.

As a new 'start up', you will need to have an entrepreneurial attitude, being both strategic as well as hands-on with operations, growing and motivating a high performing team.

As DMA you will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the college marketing and sales activities. This includes the oversight of new and existing ICNIC business relationships and international opportunities.

You will ensure that the relationships with Navitas Global Recruitment team (GRT) will lead to ICNIC student number targets being met or exceeded.

It will be your responsibility to both develop and manage the marketing budget; the devolved GRT budget oversight for ICNIC, marketing and communications and compliance strategies for ICNIC.

You will also work with the Navitas Universities Partnership Europe General Manager, Marketing and Recruitment and GRT to develop a marketing plan that includes a 5-year student numbers and product development plan for the College.

As a member of the College Management Team, you will contribute to the overall strategic plan, annual report and governance of the partnership.


As DMA you will be responsible for the oversight of the development and implementation of the ICNIC Marketing, Recruitment, and Admission and Compliance Services playbooks and will provide leadership and management of the Marketing, Recruitment, and Admission and Compliance team.

You will thereby assist the CDP in ensuring that key performance indicators for the College are achieved which include:

meeting agreed in-year new student numbers targets, meeting agreed turnaround time of ICNIC offers; gaining positive feedback in market of the ICNIC brand and products; gaining positive feedback from key stakeholders at strategic and operational level and attracting and retaining talent.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and marketing campaigns to develop the 'ICN International College' brand;
  • Strategically liaise with, develop and maintain effective relationships with university partners, the Navitas Group, agents and other external clients;
  • Develop and define key market segments to target in order to drive new business;
  • Lead the Admissions & Recruitment function to continuously improve its delivery of efficient service in relation to e.g. assessment, offer letter turnaround, and visa processes
  • Oversee the analysis recruitment related data to measure achievements against the ICNIC strategic initiatives and to inform strategic decisionmaking;
  • Work closely with the College Senior Management Team (SMT) to develop student number plans, forecasts and budget.
The person we seek will ideally have the following:

  • Degree level qualification
  • Successful track record of sales and a network of contacts in the international education market with a focus on Englishspeaking education in France
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and management of strategic / operational planning and budgets to achieve successful, costeffective outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to create, value, develop and deliver recommendations and strategies including high quality presentations and documents
  • Knowledge and experience of marketing, including promotion, advertising, digital marketing, branding, building media presence and public relations would be well regarded
  • Strong track record in executing conversion and retention strategies through a CRM and lead management automation tool
  • Fluency in both French and English
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively within a matrix structure, with focus on collaborating with and influencing various stakeholders

  • Analytical mind with good problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

Desirable criteria:

  • Master'slevel qualification
  • Knowledge of VISA and residence permit processes in France
  • Knowledge of the French Higher Education Sector
