Your mission:

Manage Firmenich long term business development with one of top 3 Fine Fragrance (FF) global accounts.

Lead and manage the account to grow sales and profitability according to objectives, by establishing dsm-firmenich as the clients' key partner, winning projects, and selling profitable fragrances
.- Define account objectives, develop, and implement strategy through leadership skills (identify potential, competitive landscape, resources, etc).


  • Coordinate global team objectives by sharing objectives and driving focused team initiatives.
  • Develop strong network within customer to build successful long term business relationship, drive business vitality, seek new business opportunities, disruptive type of innovation, negotiate conditions for customer contracts, price negotiations according to divisional/account targets.
  • Lead projects with clients and internal partners (establish boundaries, agree success criteria, allocate and coordinate resources).
  • Manage products life cycle to ensure high level of service to clients and good working practices for dsmfirmenich.
  • Build the account sales budget annually, monitor sales and profitability, optimize the account profitability, monitor all other financial aspects of the account, in particular expenses (incl. market research) vs. budget and clients overdue.
  • Oversee the entire value chain: product life cycle management, demand planning, customer care and supply chain to ensure highest customer satisfaction and maximum value extraction.
  • Manage multi segment product categories effectively liaising with account commercial managers to deliver holistic business opportunities.
  • Articulate and communicate effectively account strategy and regular updates to internal teams and upper management.

You bring:


  • Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent (business administration, economics, marketing, science...) + Leadership & Management Training
  • 6+ years of successful fragrance sales experience, ideally international,
  • Planning & organizing skills
  • Leading through vision and values, strategic decision making, business acumen, advanced sales and negotiation skills
  • Facilitating change
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
