Robotic transformation plan will enable one of the 3 strategic axes of Airbus group: Decarbonisation, Digitalisation and Robotisation.

Building an industrial integration capability has been identified as a key strategic enabler of our robotics and automation Roadmap.

Building this capability will allow Airbus to work with a broader base of suppliers with limited aerospace knowledge, capitalize all experiences and protect core knowledge from competition.


This is a creation from a white page, it will require a strong experience of Airbus industrial footprint, knowledge of complex industrial projects, a very strong ability to evolve in complex international environments, anticipate the future of the business and push for innovation.


Accountabilities:


We are looking for a robotic integration engineer to work with our brilliant robotic and automation integration team in Airbus to deliver industrial robotic stations/line to our operational internal customers.


If you are excited about developing innovative and ground-breaking robotic industrial solutions for aeronautics from scratch, solving complex industrial challenges in the aeronautical domain and preparing the future of industrial solutions for aeronautics, then this role could be for you.


This position is a rare opportunity to join our robotic team to support delivery of our most complex and high value projects, while growing your robotic integration engineer skills and knowledge of robotics and automation development for an aeronautical company.


The jobholder is responsible to discuss and agree the best robotic solution that can fit to the business needs and to contribute to the specification of the station/machine.

He/she is also responsible to analyze and solve the integration constraints on stations and lines, develop, simulate and design the right solution in collaboration with external suppliers and/or internal departement internationally and make sure about the machine operability.

He/she will also lead the integration tasks in the plants with the local and international teams.


Main activities:

Propose the automated most adapted solution for the industrial mission

Define operability constraints around station, aircraft environment, jigs and macro operations to be done

Design the integration solution in CATIA V5

Simulate trajectories and kinematics, and modify design accordingly

Perform the safety risk assessment of the machine into the station

Contribute and validate specifications for industrial integration into the line

Co-design build process and perform sequence task programming.

Lead the integration tasks with the required resources.

Create integration test plan and execute it

Define maintenance plan and related means


Skills required:

Engineering degree in robotics or industrial

5+ years experience in robot integration into industrial lines

Good experience in Robotic & Automation technology

Ability to work in a fast pace environment

Proven ability to solve problems creatively

Team work

A proficiency level in English

French, Spanish and/or German is a plus
