About the job
Execute innovative and delectable menu offerings that meet the needs of a diverse clientele.
Manage food inventory, sourcing fresh, high quality ingredients while controlling costs.
Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic kitchen environment, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to plan special events and catering services.
Manage customer relations as necessary.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a chef de cuisine in reputable establishments or restaurants.
Indepth knowledge of different cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Creativity and attention to detail in the presentation of dishes.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and a rapidly evolving environment.
Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are an asset.
Versatility and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to travel to different work locations as required*.
Languages required: French and Italian (English is a plus)

Set in Megève, Forte dei Marmi and Ibiza, three retreats are transformed and revitalised through the collaborative ventures of artists.

The Magic Collection Retreats is open to the guests, renewing popular conceptions of luxury through convivial mediums of art, design, and beauty.

The three locations constitute a special kind of place, where guests can literally live art. Artists' works are placed in relation to everyday spaces, and interact with the functionality of the place itself.

In this context, the works are stripped of their aura, and become part of everyday experience, accessible to all, in accordance with the philosophy behind the project's affirmation of art's non-exclusivity.

Art is intended for all humans to experience.
