Primary Role:

The incumbent is responsible for receiving and shipping merchandise.

The incumbent is also responsible for warehousing according to the established system as well as the administration of the merchandise.


Duties and Responsibilities - Receiving / Shipping:

  • Performs receiving and inspection of customer orders and equipment:
  • Check the quantity of parts upon receipt
  • Notify the departments concerned by the material received: AFTER SALES SERVICE, R&D...
  • Carry out the administrative reception of the products
  • Pack orders
  • Edit the shipping documents (Proforma invoices, Packing list...)
  • Carry out the shipping of orders
  • Prepare shipments requested by the different EMEA teams (France, Germany, Italy)

Tasks and responsibilities - Warehouse:


  • Prepare material for orders to be shipped
  • Place ordered components and spare parts in the storage shelves
  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Perform the necessary transactions in the inventory management system (NAV)
  • Be aware of the remaining quantities of parts and communicate with his manager the potential risks of stock shortage
  • Participate in the different steps of the inventory (stocktaking, counting, etc.)

Requirements:


  • Have a professional degree related to the logistics industry
  • Be comfortable with computer tools (Office suite, ERP)
  • Ability to read and understand English is an asset
