WITHIN YOUR TEAM


The EMEA Order Handling team, being part of the Global Sales Operations team, acts as the first contact towards our customers after signature of sales orders, making sure communication towards all stakeholders is done in a correct and timely manner.

You will take ownership of the incoming sales orders until invoicing, ensuring the quality of order registration as the base for correct revenue/order booking reporting and follow up on delivering the order in line with the customer's expectations.


THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

You will play a critical role in customer satisfaction by timely processing of orders, transparent communication with the customer and any other stakeholder and accurate handovers to the planning department.

You will be responsible for correct revenue recognition and order intake figures.

It is a unique opportunity to connect with a lot of colleagues, getting to know a lot of aspects of the Esko Business, without having to know the technical details of our product offering.


WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:


Be responsible for sales order processing and fulfillment, communication with the customers, planning department, our factories and internal sales and financial departments.

This for the French/Dutch speaking region (ESKO West Region).

On handover of a project from Sales, you will check if all info is available to register the order in AX, confirm order receipt to the customer, gather all necessary order documents, follow up on approvals and hand off the order to the planning department.

Even after hand-off, you follow up on down payments, purchase orders and handle any change requests coming from the customer.

You make sure revenue is taken in line with the company rules and invoices are sent to the customers.


Main responsibilities and key activities include:
Receive and check orders coming from sales. Interact with sales to get all the necessary information (payment terms, incoterms, PO number, etc.) to be able to process the order without waiting time;
Accurately register orders in AX, create new customer codes if necessary, consolidate all order documents on the central storage.

Communicate with the customer upon receipt of the order to confirm the order and to gather possible missing information.

Gather financial, technical and commercial approvals if applicable and commission approval in case of reseller orders.

Make sure intercompany purchase orders for hardware (CDI/AVT) and requests for software on a customer project are made on time, delivery and invoicing linked to this are followed up

You are responsible for recognizing revenue correctly in line with the company rules

Invoices are sent in line with the agreed payment conditions


You are the main contact for internal resources such as: sales force, services, factories & finance for all issues related to sales projects processed within your region.
