Staff management responsibility :
There is no expectation for the post holder to perform staff managerial duties.

From time to time, the post holder may be asked to assist with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. This will form part of a substantive role and no additional payment for these activities should be expected.
- Devise and establish a quality management framework
- Review customer requirements and make sure they are met
- Work with suppliers to establish and maintain quality requirements
- Set company standards for quality as well as health and safety
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet necessary standards
- Investigate methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Define quality procedures and response actions
- Set up and maintain relevant documentation
- Measure performance and identify weaknesses
- Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical reports
- Liase with managers to help achieve quality standards
- Provide training to employees on quality control measures
Qualifications Essential Desirable
- Graduate with an engineering or other relevant background (at least a Master's degree or equivalent)
- Graduate from a degree in process engineering
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Essential Desirable
- Experience in quality control / assurance
- Experience in creating a quality management framework
- Knowledge in relevant industrial quality standards ( _e.g_., ISO 9001)
- Skills in Lean Six Sigma or other improvement methodologies
- Skills in numerical and statistical analysis
