Main Tasks:


  • Performed analyses on high resolution mass spectrometer (Q-TOF) techniques for characterization of small molecules and polymers in coatings. Knowledge of packaging materials and migration of molecules thereof,
  • Knowledge on analytical chemistry and bioinformatic tools enabling identification of migrating compounds and compilation thereof. Translate chemical screening information for safety assessments of packaging materials. Provide assistance to Regulatory or R&D teams,
  • Solve coating problems using scientific approach. Develops analytical methods for analysis of coatings, raw materials, and coating defects,
  • Develops reports and documents detailing project processes, results, and conclusions and recommends additional actions,
  • Actively participate in relevant Expert Networks and collaborate with others in projects that are moderate to large in nature and independently carries out project tasks and provides professional technical support,
  • Maintain the good lab practice and repair on instrumentation to ensure data quality for performance.

Profile:


  • Ph. D or master's degree in analytical Science, Engineering or Chemical field, with ideally a first professional experience in the field (12 years)
  • Experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and highresolution mass spectrometry equipment required.
  • Experience with packaging (safety) is a plus.
  • Experience with others analytical technics is a plus
  • Knowledge on bioinformatic methodologies.
  • High motivation and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers both verbally and in written form (French and English).
