About the role


As a Global Expatriate Tax Manager, you will be responsible for providing expat tax technical support to the Global Tax and Global Mobility Departments and ensuring compliance for the firm globally.

This position includes reviewing and establishing consistent best practices with regards to providing tax and social security advice to the firm in relation to international moves.


Other key responsibilities include:

  • Advising the Global Mobility team in respect of the internationally mobile employee population requiring tax assistance, including drafting and reviewing appropriate wording for assignment letters.
  • Handling the firm's compliance with tax laws and regulations with regards to expat taxes and relocation expenses.
  • Managing third party vendor relationships with the firm's tax provider with regards but not limited to hypo tax calculations, individual tax compliance, tax settlement calculations.
  • Preparing tax and social security cost projections and using these to help the firm identify appropriate structures for international moves.
  • Liaising with tax authorities and tax providers on matters such as expatriate compliance reviews and audits into tax returns and notices issued.

About you

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Are fluent in English language, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate excellent project management skills (i.e., organizing, planning, problemsolving, and decision making).
  • Display well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm.

And have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Law required.
  • CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification
