Orano is working on an industrial program in the field of battery materials for electric vehicles, focusing on the manufacturing of Cathode Active Materials (CAM).

The Orano program includes the construction of three factories on the same site in Dunkirk: two P-CAM and CAM factories in collaboration with XTC New Energy, and a recycling plant.

The Technology Industrialization Manager for PCAM works closely with the PCAM/CAM industrialization manager of the battery program to oversee the technology transfer with our partner XTC, ensuring the secure exchange of information for the successful design and optimal start-up of the PCAM factory in Dunkirk.

Key responsibilities include:

• Defining the technical data and support strategy required from XTC to ensure the design and start-up of the PCAM factory.
• Coordinating between XTC and the Orano Batteries teams.
• Managing exchanges between the contractor and XTC in coordination with the PCAM project manager and the Technical Department.
• Overseeing technology transfer to ensure the successful start-up of the factory: team training, qualification tests definition, operation procedures establishment, etc.
• Managing the project relationship with XTC: quality control, cost management, schedule adherence.

The Technology Industrialization Manager for PCAM will also be the main contact person for the Orano Batteries Regulation Manager, responsible for preparing the ICPE file, to gather essential information from XTC for the dossier.

As the project progresses, the role may evolve into an Operational Commissioning Mission for the factory.
