Advanced Scheduling Data Process Transformation Manager - 24-Month FTC

An Advanced Scheduling programme under Smart Manufacturing 2030 has been established, aiming for driving Production Scheduling implementation as part of the introduction of an advanced scheduling tool, transforming global process standards to the operationalised level to deliver towards the Smart Manufacturing vision, at each site that falls within scope.


This role of Advanced Scheduling Data Process Transformation Manager will work across multiple sites to understand current state data processes, identify quick wins and build the future state data processes aligned to our business transformation and 2030 digital ambition.

The role would suit a self-motivated individual who has a passion for data and good appreciation of the manufacturing processes with direct experience in one or more functional areas (e.g. New Product Introduction, Site Planning, Production Execution, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Quality).

The role holder will have proven ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment to drive common data standards, ways of working and processes.

Through your collaborations you will help co-create the business requirements for digital solutions. You will have strong people skills and a proven ability to influence people to achieve objectives and drive performance.


In this role you will

  • This role operates globally with stakeholder interfaces across GSK, which span all layers of the organisation up to VP level (along with a highly complex network).
  • This role will work in close collaboration with the Supply Chain and Manufacturing GPO Teams as well as Advanced Scheduling Operation Managers to support the successful design and implementation of the business transformations.
  • You will help to define and deliver the strategy and roadmap for the Scheduling and Manufacturing Data process (to enable the business to operate effectively within the enterprisewide global business).
  • You will also identify 'quick wins' and collaborate with the BAU Team to ensure rapid implementation to maximise value delivery from the identified opportunities,
  • You will work closely with data process SMEs and the Master Data Management transformation team to build and develop standardised GSK data processes. These new processes will ensure we have right firsttime data available for business.
  • You will recommend the data rules and standards and will work with the Scheduling Teams and E2E Service to drive data quality improvements to ensure fit for purpose data feeding into our execution and decisionmaking processes.
  • You will achieve this by understanding practical data management issues, bringing the "outside in" and working across functions and support services to address the issues or recommend optimisation opportunities, to ensure the processes deliver business benefit across the endtoend supply chain processes.
  • In collaboration with the Process Directors and process SMEs, you will continuously monitor the Scheduling and Manufacturing Data process adoption, execution, and capability requirements to provide recommendations and solutions so process and systems are operating optimally across GSK globally.
