Within the Group Finance team, the Alternance - Financial Accounting Controller will contribute to enhance internal monitoring and analysis capacity of GCAO.

The Financial Accounting Controller will participate to ensure the monitoring and controlling of the quarterly and yearly financials as well as participate to the IFRS 17 project.

The position works closely with the other Group departments and finance teams of subsidiaries.

It thus offers a broad and comprehensive view of what are the major financial and reporting challenges in a worldwide reinsurance company.


In coordination with GCAO and local teams:

  • Participate to the preparation, coordination and follow up of IFRS and statutory closing and reporting including the contribution to the quarterly follow-up of the delivery of items in PBC list to auditors
  • For IFRS 17 project: Participation to the testing & implementation of the IFRS 17 Chart of Account, including analyse and provide answers to Legal Entities questions related to the IFRS 17 COA
  • Contribute to ad'hoc financial analysis and reporting with close coordination with other (group Consolidation, Taxes, Accounting, Cost control, Legal) and local finance teams.
  • You are currently enrolled in Bac + 5 or equivalent: Business or engineering school, or master's degree in finance/audit/controlling
  • Experience in analysis, reporting, audit is a plus
  • Knowledge of insurance/reinsurance business and principles is a plus
  • Team player, collaborative spirit
  • Rigorous, Flexible, well organized and Excellent interpersonal skills
