    Reporting to Head of Group Investment & ALM Monitoring, you will be part of the Group Investment and ALM team (GIA) and play a critical role in ensuring effective ALM throughout the AXA Group, management of interest rates positioning, and Solvency 2 capital related to investments. As the ALM Expert Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate ALM activities across the Group, work on transversal projects, and collaborate with local entities and other GIA teams.

    As part of the Group Investment and ALM team, your key responsibilities will include

  • Coordinating the ALM activities of the Group Maintaining ALM standards and guidelines/methodology Animating the ALM Center of Expertise Organising sharing of best practices Providing guidance and ensuring adherence to Group standards
  • Managing the process of budgeting/tracking Solvency 2 capital related to investments Ensuring quality delivery of operating units Maintaining an adequate level of control, analysis, and reconciliation Consolidating results, producing analysis, and delivering reports in a time manner Supporting enhancement of all supporting IT tools
  • Steering of the Group interest rates positioning (duration and convexity) Defining, in collaboration with local entities and other GIA teams, the optimal positioning on interest rates for each entity based on medium to long-term ALM considerations and solvency optimization, and shorter-term macroeconomic and market-driven factors Coordinating the convergence of each entity towards the defined target and proposing the most appropriate strategies to reach it Monitoring the associated KPIs (duration and convexity gap) monthly
  • Being the ALM point of contact and coordinator across the Group and with external parties: Coordinating with Group Investment & ALM, Controlling, Accounting, and Risk Management internally Coordinating externally with ACPR
  • Your Profile

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Good knowledge of financial markets and valuation; with 7+ years of experience;
  • Experience in ALM, relevant software and specific insurance industry directives and legislation (Solvency II, for example);
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and understanding of how to distil down complex information;
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (working language);
  • Team spirit and ability to coordinate a team of c. 10 people across entities within the ALM Center of Expertise.
