As part of the Clinical Biomarkers team within the Translational Medicine structure, you will manage the Central Biorepository team and support R&D teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory guidance, securing access and facilitate the use of biological samples from Servier's clinical biorepository (biobank), for derisking R&D programs, supporting filing/market access, and improving disease knowledge

Missions/Activities:

Manage the Central Biorepository:
Make sure patient consent & rights are respected.
Maintain knowledge and consistency of the inventory.
Guarantee reliability of biosample data (integrity, tracking, completeness).
Facilitate data sharing with other Biosample and Clinical R&D databases.
Ensure Central Biorepository governance and biosample valorization.
Define with R&D teams, the Biorepository collection strategy for R&D projects (clinical,partnership) and ensure its proper implementation with the operational teams.
Manage Central Biorepository team (internal & insourcing) and check that necessary resources are allocated to ensure the deployment of the defined Biorepository strategy and related activities.
Responsible of Process, Standards and Training of actors involved in the management of Central Biorepository biosamples.
Pilot the policy and promote good practices for managing human biosamples (clinical studies, partnerships).
Act as an expert, point of contact with the competent authorities and partners for topics related to biosample management internal policy and valorisation of samples:
Ensure ethic & regulatory guidance as regards human biosamples within R&D including potential transfers to partners, new partnerships.
Pilot CAPA plans related to Central Biorepository samples.

Manage the risks (regulatory, GDPR, ethics, security, etc.) related to the management, purchase from external Biobanks, reuse of biosamples within R&D businesses concerned.

Others activities & responsibilities:

Ensure collaborative teamwork mindset with key partners.
Contribute to the Biorepository strategy within the Biomarker plan that fit to the clinical development.
Contribute to external opportunities evaluation incl. Due Diligence, in close collaboration with External Opportunities group.
Frame biosample management in external partnerships

Profile:

MSc or equivalence (Master, MBA)
5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or biobanking industry and experience in biosample/data management
Great knowledge of clinical research and development environment, as well as clinical trials.
Expertise in clinical biosample and data management, including ethic and regulatory aspects.
Understanding of data management and governance strategy
Management experience
Good communication skills
Professional English, both written and oral
Ability to lead projets/groups in a matrix organization
Collaborative spirit, ability to share insights, business focus, taste for mentoring and training
