About the job:

Keysight's Global Services Organisation (KGSO) is seeking to hire a talented and ambitious Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join its team, with responsibility for delivering support services to Keysight's Electronic Manufacturing Test Solution and Parametric Test Solution customers across the Electronics Manufacturing Services and Semiconductor Industry Sectors, with a focus on delivering remote and onsite support services for Keysight's i1000, i3070 & i7090 In-Circuit Test solutions and 4070 & 4080 Parametric Test solutions.

Repair services across multiple platforms. There will also be a requirement to deliver customer facing training.


Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Schedule and implement new system installations and decommissioning at customer site.
• Schedule and deliver annual and biannual onsite system calibrations.
• Installation of hardware, software and firmware upgrades and service notes.
• Perform remote and onsite troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment in a timely, thorough, and professional manner.
• Work with crossfunctional teams to address difficult repair situations and escalations.
• Deliver facetoface customer training.
• Determine and develop approaches to the varied assignments associated with this position.
• Lead field service and support projects requiring coordination with other functions and customers.
• Solve a broad range of system problems of varying scope and complexity, involving hardware,
• Assist the Sales teams as needed; proactively look for growth opportunities to drive new solution sales and annual recurring revenue.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to travel via car and air.
• Flexibility to travel across Europe is essential (estimated 5060% requirement, France focused). International travel may also be required, although much less frequently.

Nice to have qualifications:

• Working knowledge of In-Circuit, Functional and Automated Test technologies and solutions would be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of semiconductor parametric testing would be advantageous (ultralow current/voltage to HV systems and safety).
• Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical troubleshooting techniques and skills knowledge.
• Previous onsite commissioning and/or service delivery experience is desirable.
• Good working knowledge of MS Windows, Linux and networking.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a logical manner.
• Be selfmotivated, with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
• Ability to make decisions that favourably effect customer uptime.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in highstress, mission critical situations.
• Flexible working hours per customer commitments, with the ability to travel at short notice.
