We are looking for a talented Machine Learning Engineer/Data scientist who is passionate about new technologies and has a real desire to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.


You will be joining the Machine Learning Engineering team at an exciting time with an ambitious roadmap to help Egencia build the next generation platform.


What you'll do:

  • Carry out research work using Egencia's data.
  • Perform Exploratory Data Analysis of car bookings, and possibly other data sources.
  • Develop Machine Learning models to tackle a business problems.
  • Identify accurate metrics and evaluate the performance of the model using advanced techniques.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers and other stakeholders.
  • Opportunity to showcase your work during team demos and external demos with Product Managers.

Who you are:

  • You are passionate about Data Science and Machine Learning, and are always willing to learn new things.
  • You have a strong team spirit and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
  • You have good communication skills (French and English).
  • You have good programming skills in Python.
  • You have good databases knowledge (relational and / or documentbased) and a database querying language (SQL).
  • You have a good understanding of statistics.
  • You have a good knowledge of data wrangling methods.
  • You are familiar with both Supervised and Unsupervised Machine Learning methods and their corresponding evaluation techniques.
  • You are familiar with data visualization tools.
  • Experience in shipping models to production is a plus.

Technologies we use:
Python, PySpark, SQL, Git, Amazon Web Services.

This internship will start around March 2023 and end around September 2023.
