We are looking to speak to Head of Data Engineering for a new position with one of our global customers in the retail sector. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will be taking charge of refining and managing our existing data analytics framework, ensuring it's effective, purposeful, and capable of scaling with our growth

• Location: Ile-de-France, France
• Remote Working*
• Starting Date: June
• *Flexible with occasional visits to Paris

Responsibilities:

• You will define and oversee the roadmap of the client's data strategy
• Manage and develop the core data engineering team (25+ FTE/Externals)
• Streamline and improve the reporting and delivery process
• Help standardise data management procedures across the business
• Develop the data culture and promote best practices across the team and business

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Head of Data / Data Manager or within a similar role
• Strong technical proficiency, with the ability to work across a range of data stacks and technologies.
• Commercial awareness and client-facing experience are essential, as you will be interacting with stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead and grow data engineering teams, foster a data-driven culture, and manage cross-functional projects
• Fluent English / French
