Safety System Engineer:

We are looking for a new colleague in the Customer Application Systems Engineering team at our location in Puteaux, Paris.


Your tasks:


  • Contribute to feature requirements and provide functional safety guidance on feature definition according to ISO26262 & ISO2144
  • Perform vehicle level HARA and generate safety goals as well as perform DFMEA and FTA analysis.
  • Represent the functional safety team working alongside the engineering departments to provide technical consult, guidance and approval as part of internal and external development activities.
  • Work with the vehicle engineering, systems engineering and component engineering teams to progress the functional safety deliverables.
  • Provide the V&V synthesis and Safety Analysis Report for features; keep up to date KPI and overall planning showing upcoming Homologation and Inhibition release milestone.

Your profile:


  • Engineering degree in Electronics, Software, Mechatronics or similar.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in functional safety at system level or systems engineering for automotive industry.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of integrity.
  • Good working knowledge of vehicle system functionality and electro/ mechanical control strategy.
  • Fluent French and English language skills are required; German or other language is a plus.
