The Region Controller, reporting to the VP Finance of the EMEA Region, oversees all Accounting and Controlling activities in the assigned region.

This role leads the finance team, develops accounting activities, and enhances regional controlling. As a financial advisor, the Region Controller collaborates with various business functions, introduces new processes, and improves reporting capabilities. The goal is to create a unified regional finance organization that supports accounting and controlling while fostering talent development.
- **Close Collaboration**: Act closely with country and region business partners.

Team Participation: Participate in cross-functional teams and ad hoc projects as assigned.

Efficient Workflow: Establish an efficient way of working with other Region Controllers, all other business functions, and the platform FP&A team.

Organizational Development: Support the organizational development and improvement.

IT System Optimization: Assist the business units in optimizing and streamlining the usage of IT systems.

Process Simplification: Help to simplify processes.

Leadership: Provide leadership and strategic direction.

Team Building: Build and manage a high-performing team, and develop all relevant talents.

Financial Advisory: Serve as a financial Business Partner and advisor to regional stakeholders and their functional teams.

Leadership and Ownership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive organizational change and operational excellence. Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and motivation as a leader.

Communication and Pro-activity: Confident communication at all levels, open to cultural nuances. Pro-active and self-driven personality with a hands-on approach.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. Ability to prioritize effectively and focus on key action points in challenging environments.

Finance and Compliance: Strong background and practical experience in Finance, specifically in Controlling and Accounting. Experience in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and Signode policies, including SOX.

Technical Proficiency and Travel: Proficient in Excel and experienced in using complex ERP & BI Systems (e.g., SAP, AX, Power BI). Willingness to undertake international and domestic travel (up to 30% of the time) with flexibility and effective priority setting.
