2. Description of the department


The Intern will join the Asset Management department and will work with the ESG Lead France in collaboration with the ESG paneuropean team and the ESG Leads of other countries.

The Asset Management department in France manages a portfolio of c.

17 billion assets in Offices / Retail / Logistics / Residential / Hotels for AXA IM Real Assets, a European leader in real estate asset management.


3. The main responsibilities of the role


The Intern will assist together with the ESG Lead France, the Asset Managers and will contribute to the definition and the implementation of the ESG strategy for the French assets under management.


He / she will be responsible for:

ESG strategy/Communication:


  • Contributing to the implementation of the paneuropean ESG Strategy in the asset management team by assisting asset managers and managing property managers on those topics
  • Attending monthly call meetings with the ESG paneuropean team and the other ESG Leads to have an overview of all ESG projects launched at an international level
  • Organizing and preparing monthly ESG meetings with the Heads of Asset Management in France to give them an overview and a up of all ESG projects launched in France and at a paneuropean level
  • Communicating on the AXA REIM's tertiary decree strategy with stakeholders (investors, asset managers, property managers and tenants on demand)

ESG Operational Management:


  • Managing (in collaboration with the ESG Lead France) the consultants that assist AXA REIM in implementing the tertiary decree strategy
  • Being the referent of different ESG framework contracts (example of topics: HSE audits, green energy procurement, Energy saving certificates, smart meters, etc)
  • Being responsible of ESG data collection in Deepki's platform and be involved in Deepki's partnership by sharing user feedbacks and recommendations

Reporting/ Data analysis:


  • Launching the main ESG reporting campaigns (ESG Rating, GRESB, ESG Action Plans) and monitoring the ESG KPIs (check information, review consistency of reports, and add specifics comments)
  • Analyzing ESG data / ESG documentation at asset level such as CREEM models and ESG Action Plans
  • Assisting Asset Managers in the definition of their ESG budgets (opex and capex)

Your Profile

4. Profile

Education/Qualifications

  • Master degree in Finance, Management, Engineering or Real Estate with some ESG courses.

Experience

  • Proven interest in real estate (any previous experience within asset management or with a focus on real estate would be considered as a plus)

Competencies

  • Accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team and in an international environment
  • Autonomy and leadership initiative, entrepreneurial and result driven culture
  • Strong analytical and synthesis capacity
  • Verbal and written communications and presentation skills
  • Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions
  • Fluent in French and English
