Main Goal:


Responsible globally for the successful execution of our Manufacturing and Plant operations processes, this position oversees from the point of the raw material coming into one of our plants through our extensive quality and process control programs.

Having smooth operations for these processes ensures our final product is available to sell on time and in full, meeting or exceeding both internal product specifications and external industry standards.


This director role oversees the entire manufacturing of products (all seed conditioning and processing activities) across our five manufacturing operations Plants worldwide, ensuring manufacturing and seed processing, process performance, and quality standards are consistently met.

This role is also responsible for setting and achieving goals to improve process control, product quality, safety, financial metrics, inventory availability and supply delivery, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


Job description:


  • As part of the Global Supply Chain Management team, lead our global Manufacturing/Plant Operations, ensuring industrial efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction with costeffective management practices
  • Participate in developing the global strategy for Manufacturing, followed by successful conversion of that strategy into tactical plans and actions for the team to execute upon
  • Participate proactively in the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) and different platforms, ensuring optimal use of our available inventory and maximizing fulfillment of short, mid
- and long-term customers and market demands

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies/bodies
  • Develop and utilize Manufacturing metrics to drive efficiencies, quality, and lead time and recommend process improvement initiatives, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency
  • Implement longterm plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capabilities and processes in line with global business strategy and longterm financial objectives of HM.CLAUSE
  • Develop and execute capital investment plans and closely monitor their ROI and their execution
  • Actively develop and drive global programs and initiatives for people and operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, environmental sustainability, and cost control across our entire manufacturing processes, implementing and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
  • Strong physical and administrative ownership of all worldwide semibulk and final product inventories in our Manufacturing/Plant sites, ensuring transparent and accurate warehouse handling and administration in compliance with internal/external accounting standards and strong process control
  • Strong utilization and deployment of available internal or external Manufacturing process and seed technology solutions to improve process control (efficiency) or product quality (cost/usability) through collaboration with our strategic partners or seed/process technology research platforms inside or outside the Limagrain Group
  • Actively drive the recruitment, attraction, and retention of talent and the next generation of industrial leadership and employees in technical seed expertise roles, partnering with HR and utilizing different programs in Talent Acquisition and HR Development
  • Actively contribute to Limagrain Vegetable Seeds (LVS) Processing forum and develop strong collaboration with our LVS sister companies
  • Ensure a healthy and safe working environment and compliance with regulations through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff

Profile:


  • MBA or master's degree in business, Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in operations and plant management requir
