TEAM:

- The Data Intelligence team develops and deploys datadriven and AIpowered solutions to optimize operations in the aviation industry, with a specific focus on reducing the sector's CO2 emissions. For example, SITA Opticlimb helps to save fuel for each climb by computing optimal climb speeds considering number of factors like air density, weight, etc._
- We are seeking a highly motivated _
_AI Engineer Intern__ to join our Data Intelligence team. As an AI Expert Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our AI Experts on cuttingedge projects, leveraging your skills and knowledge in AI development and optimization. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain handson experience in the field of AI and contribute to the success of our data intelligence solutions._

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
_
- _
Collaborate with AI Experts to develop and optimize AI models and algorithms for aviation operations_
- _ Assist in implementing and maintaining the AI pipeline and infrastructure for data processing and model training_
- _ Support AI Experts in conducting experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and accuracy of AI models._
- _ Pre-process and analyze data using Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) to prepare it for model training and evaluation_
- _ Contribute to the development of data pre-processing techniques, feature engineering approaches, and model evaluation methodologies_
- _ Document development processes, procedures, and findings_
- _ Stay up-to-date with the latest AI research and industry trends to contribute innovative ideas to the team_
Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:
_
- _
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field._
- _ Solid understanding of AI and machine learning concepts._
- _ Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn._
- _ Knowledge of data pre-processing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques._
- _ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills._
- _ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities._
- _ Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with AI advancements._
