Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Power Engineering from a Reputable university
  • At least 8 years' experience of Gas insulated switchgear commissioning with proof of completed projects.
  • Certified in Siemens Energy Gas insulated switchgear or equivalent HV GIS Brand
  • Certified in HV test for HV Substations
  • Capabilities in working with moderns testing kits (Omicron, )
  • Highly conscientious and diligent
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, strong networking, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work abroad and flexibility to work in different locations in Egypt
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic languages
  • Ability to speak German will be an advantage.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with mínimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.
  • Effective problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations.
  • Proven integrity and high personal standards of behavior.
  • Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment, as well as proven interpersonal skills and ability to successfully engage with diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite

Your Responsibilities

  • Testing and Commissioning of HV, MV Substations up to 500 KV
  • Lead commissioning activities for HV substations
  • Understanding Project drawings customer requirements
  • Prepare commissioning schedule as per project time line
  • Prepare Commissioning procedures and method of statement
  • Complete testing of Gas insulated switchgear components
  • Preparing test protocols as per Siemens Energy standard
  • Handover the complete testing and commissioning activities to customer
  • Supervision of junior engineers and monitoring their performance and effectiveness
  • Train and learn junior engineers.
  • Meeting with customers to gather feedback
