What you will be a part ofThe Saab Global Marketing & Sales (GM&S) function covers Saab AB's all global marketing and sales activities. Saab GM&S function has offices in 10 Regions/Operational Countries. Region Western Europe covers countries of the area with the exception of UK and Germany.
In this Region we have six established countries (France, Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Denmark and Switzerland) and you will be part of our established country France, based at the Saab France office in Paris.
We are now looking for our new Office & Event Manager for France, based in Paris, France. The role will be responsible for administrative support of the office, including office management duties. In addition, the role will be responsible of the Saab France team's activities related to local events in France.
The role requires a flexible and open-minded person willing to contribute to the Saab France organisation, as part of our wider Saab's Marketing & Sales global organisation.
Expectations:
The Office & Event Manager, based at our Paris office, will be responsible for administrative support, including office management as follows:
- Office reception
- Facility management
- Invoice management regular contacts with Saab France's local accountant and corporate financial controller
- Office supplies management : furniture, stationery, promotional items etc
- Office security management in coordination with Saab Security
- Support to travel management for Saab vistitors (BA/BU) (hotels, transport etc)
- Travel expenses support for Saab France team
In addition to the administrative office responsibility, the Office & Event Manager will be responsible for the local events organisation and running e.g.
- SOFINS, Forum Entreprise Defense, National Infantry Day, Santa Lucia, Forum International Cybersecurity, Forum Innovation Defense, Franco-Swedish Business Day
- The local event management for Saab France involves good knowledge of project management and good marketing communication skills
The support and contribution to level 1 events with complex event management in an international context (also acting as Delegation Manager).

- Relevant academic education and/or relevant work experience
- Wellorganized and ability to handle many tasks at once together with the ability to prioitise tasks
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
- Good judgment and high integrity
- Autonomy and ability to take initiative
- Serviceminded and structured
- Ability to adapt to different situations
- Understand the local environment France
- Highly proficient in spoken and written French and English language
- Swedish language is a plus.
